Ready for an epic alpine ride? This route takes you from Nauders, a charming Tyrolean village near the Austrian-Italian border, all the way down to the sun-soaked town of Merano in South Tyrol. You'll cover about 91 km, with over 900 meters of climbing and a thrilling 2,000-meter net descent—so get ready for some long, sweeping downhills!

The journey starts at around 1,550 meters elevation, with stunning views of the Reschen Pass area. Much of the ride rolls along smooth cycleways and quiet roads, passing lakes, meadows, and postcard-worthy villages. Expect about 6% unpaved surfaces, including some gravel sections, but nothing too gnarly.

As you approach Merano, the scenery shifts to palm trees and vineyards—this spa town has a Mediterranean feel despite the mountain backdrop.
