Traseul are dificultate medie datorita pantei foarte abrupte a partiei de ski din prima parte. O data ajunsi sus, traseul devine mult mai usor, muntii Baiului avand practic un fel de platou precum cel al Bucegilor. Aproape ca nu exista portiuni unde sa fie nevoie sa coborati de pe biciclete.
