F212 Asse-Brussels Cycle Route

The F212 is the cycle highway linking Asse with Brussels — a fast, low-stress route built for everyday riding. It runs through Flemish Brabant into the capital, mostly on smooth asphalt and away from traffic, so it’s great for commuting, training rides, or a relaxed roll into town.

Expect long, straight stretches, gentle gradients, and clear F212 signposts. In busier spots you’ll cross a few side roads, so watch priority, but most of it feels safe and predictable. Open sections can be a bit windy; urban parts are generally well lit.

It plugs into Brussels’ wider bike network, making it easy to connect to canal paths and inner-city lanes. Hop on or off near local transit if you’re mixing bike and train.
