Overview

About this collection

A fun set of off-road loops around Klosterreichenbach in the northern Black Forest. Expect a mix of forest paths and narrow tracks, mostly unpaved with stretches of loose gravel and the occasional rooty bit. It rides best on an MTB; confident gravel riders with chunky tires will be fine too.

The routes weave through tall pines above the Murg Valley, with short, punchy climbs and flowy sections between clearings. It’s easy to start right in Klosterreichenbach village (home to the historic monastery church) and link segments however you like—or connect toward Baiersbronn for a longer day out.

Good to know: after rain, the ground and gravel get slick, and some singletrack can be tight. Yield to hikers and keep an ear out on blind corners. Bring low gears and decent brakes; there’s more up-and-down than you’d expect for the distance.

Perfect for quick after-work laps or a chill weekend spin in classic Black Forest scenery.
