Riet–Hochdorf Bike Link

Short and sweet connector between Riet and Hochdorf. It’s about 1.8 km, fully paved, and mostly on quiet farm tracks with an easy-to-steady climb of around 90 m if you’re heading toward Hochdorf. Perfect as a local shortcut, a family-friendly spin, or a link in a longer ride. Road bikes are totally fine here. Expect low traffic, but keep an eye out for tractors and farm vehicles. Works great in either direction—one way’s a little punchy uphill, the other is a smooth roll. Nice open countryside vibes, few intersections, and a calm alternative to busier roads. Handy for commuters or anyone stitching together backroad routes between the two villages. Bring lights if you’re riding at dusk; lighting can be sparse.
