NCN 164: Beverley – Market Weighton
A cycling tour with 2 stages, starting in Beverley, England, United Kingdom.
Overview
About this tour
Ride the Yorkshire Wolds between Beverley and Market Weighton on NCN 164. It’s roughly 24 km with about 260 m of climbing, mostly on quiet lanes with a few traffic-free bits. Surfaces are mainly paved, with around 2 km unpaved, so hybrids or road bikes with wider tires work great.
Roll out from historic Beverley (don’t miss the Minster), cruise past open pasture and farmland, then dip into Market Weighton for a well-earned café stop. Expect gentle rollers, big skies, and one short stretch on a busier road—take care there.
It’s well signposted (look for the red 164), easy in either direction, and a handy link for longer loops in the Wolds. Food, water, and pubs are easy to find at both ends. A solid day ride for most abilities.
