F28 Brussel–Boom (wenslijn)

The F28 is the planned cycling highway between Brussels and Boom. Expect mostly smooth, straight sections on asphalt and many segregated cycle paths; occasionally you will ride briefly on the roadway. Since this is a wish line, some parts are still missing and the situation on site may vary. Follow local signage and maps, and anticipate short detours if necessary.

This connection links the capital to Boom on the Rupel, known for De Schorre and Tomorrowland—convenient for commuting, study, or a relaxing weekend ride. You can already explore existing segments; as more gets completed, it will develop into a fast, safe corridor.

Practical: check your route in advance, watch out for busy spots and work zones, and respect priority rules where you briefly share the road with cars.
