La Voie Bleue: Kœnigsmacker–Mondelange (rive gauche de la Moselle)

A nice stretch of La Voie Bleue along the Moselle, from Kœnigsmacker to Mondelange, always on the left bank. River atmosphere, views of the river and peaceful sections between banks, parks, and small urban areas.

The route is almost entirely on smooth surface (mostly asphalt), with only very rare unpaved meters. The majority is on greenways/cycle paths and small access roads, with some crossings of busier roads to approach cautiously. Overall flat profile with moderate elevation, perfect for a relaxed outing on a road bike, hybrid or with family.

Expect about 22 km of rolling ride. Ideal for getting fresh air, following the Moselle, and cycling stress-free. ‘La Voie Bleue’ signage present in the area. Tip: plan a short break by the water, there are often nice stops along the banks.
