Naab-Regen Radroute

Easy through the Upper Palatinate: The Naab-Regen cycling route connects Nittenau with Neunburg vorm Wald. You ride mostly away from traffic through forests, meadows, and river valleys, with small villages for short stops. The surface is mixed: asphalt, firm paths, and gravel. Mostly you travel on cycle paths and trails, plus quiet side roads; only a few short sections are along busier roads. The profile includes around 270 meters of climbing and slightly less descending – a few undulations, but easy riding. Ideal for touring bikes, trekking bikes, or gravel bikes; unpaved sections can be slippery when wet. Bring enough water and plan a break by the water – the landscape invites lingering.
