Ciclabile Sombreno – Bergamo–Almè

A nice green connection between Bergamo and Almè passing through Sombreno. It's a short route (about 8 km), perfect for relaxed rides or daily commuting. Mostly on a dedicated bike path, with some sections on local roads and 30 km/h zones. The surface is almost entirely paved, but there are short segments of gravel and on boardwalks/earth: suitable for city bikes, trekking or gravel bikes; caution when wet. The profile is smooth, with some gentle ups and downs. Also ideal with children and for those wishing to avoid traffic. Along the route you'll find views of the countryside and residential neighborhoods, with bars and ice cream shops for a quick stop. Tips: lights and bell always useful, give way to pedestrians on shared sections and be cautious at intersections on local roads. Excellent option to connect the city with nearby towns without stress.
