Pratolungo - Mottarone - Pratolungo (in mountainbike)
Cycling route in Pettenasco, Piedmont, Italy
Our first mountainbike ride in weeks. Not to difficult, but nice mountainbike tracks and good views. We started at the campsite in Pratolungo. From there go over the road to Agrano, Armeno and climb to Coiromonte. When arrived at the restaurant/hotel, take the road which has a sign to Armeno. After a few hundred meters you arrive at a house on the right. Take the unpaved road there all the way to Monte Falò. There you take a left and continue to go up until you arrive at the normal road again. Go to the right, upwards. We arrived at Motarrone after 2 hours and had pranzo al sacco there. Going back we took the road in the direction of Stresa until we arrived in Gignese. There we took a right and followed the mainroad until Sovazza. Since we had some energy left we again climbed to Coiromonte, but you can also directly go to Armeno and than back to Agrano and Pratolungo.
