By bicycle from Fengyuan to Taichung

This easy-going ride takes you from Fengyuan, a lively district in northern Taichung, south into Taichung city itself. Fengyuan is known for its local markets and the famous Fengyuan Huludun Park—perfect for a quick pre-ride snack or stroll!

The route stretches just under 14 km, mostly following smooth cycleways, so you can expect a relaxing journey with very little traffic. You’ll hardly notice the climb (under 8 meters up!) before the route mostly descends gently toward the center of Taichung—great for riders who want a chill experience.

Expect to cruise by parks and neighborhood streets, enjoying the typical mix of city scenes and occasional greenery. With most of the route on well-maintained paths, it’s beginner-friendly.

You’ll finish in central Taichung, known for its art museums, coffee shops, and the bustling Calligraphy Greenway. A perfect end point if you want to explore the city’s creative side or grab a bite!
