Ready for an epic ride down Taiwan’s west coast? This route takes you from Taichung’s bustling city, famous for its night markets and relaxed vibe, all the way to the historic charm of Tainan City, Taiwan’s oldest city and street food heaven.

Covering about 202 km, you’ll enjoy a gentle ride with only minor climbs—so don’t worry about big hills. Most of your journey is on quiet country roads or dedicated cycleways, making for a peaceful and scenic experience. You’ll only hit the occasional busy section.

The ride takes you through the heart of central and southern Taiwan, where you’ll pass farmlands, sleepy towns, and get a real feel for local life. Keep an eye out for temples, traditional markets, and, if you’re lucky, some roadside fruit stalls.
