Cycling day trip from Urayasu to Tokyo

This pleasant bike route takes you from the lovely waterfront city of Urayasu over to lively central Tokyo. Starting in Urayasu, famous for its proximity to Tokyo Disneyland and great views of Tokyo Bay, you'll find most of the ride along quiet roads and dedicated cycleways—so it’s a relaxed journey, perfect for soaking in the local neighborhoods and riverside scenery.

The distance is just over 56 km, so it's a decent day out in the saddle, but the hills are gentle with just over 300 meters of climbing in total. You’ll glide through a variety of urban and residential areas, catching glimpses of parks, the sprawling city skyline, and perhaps even the edge of the Imperial Palace as you approach Tokyo proper.
