Set off from the vibrant streets of Lisbon, Portugal’s captivating capital perched by the Atlantic. This epic ride to Faro takes you all the way to the sun-soaked Algarve, covering just over 410 km. While you’ll pedal across some rolling hills and climb nearly 5,000 meters in total, most of your route will be on quiet rural roads and tracks—perfect for soaking up the countryside without much traffic. The surfaces will keep things interesting: expect stretches of smooth pavement mixed with gravel and some unpaved tracks.

You’ll glide past cork oak groves, whitewashed villages, and glimpses of the Atlantic, feeling the scenery shift as you move south.
