Cycling day trip from Soller to Pollença

Get ready for a truly scenic ride across northern Mallorca! Starting in Sóller, a charming town nestled in the Tramuntana mountains (famous for its Art Deco train and sweet oranges), you’ll wind your way through some of the island’s most spectacular landscapes before arriving in the historic town of Pollença.

This route is quite the adventure—around 87 km long, with plenty of climbing (almost 1800 meters of ascent), so bring your climbing legs! The vast majority of the journey is on quiet, well-paved roads, with little traffic—perfect for soaking in stunning views of rugged peaks, terraced valleys, and maybe stopping for a quick café con leche in a sleepy village.

You’ll cross mountain passes (the peak elevation is over 600 meters!), roll through olive groves, and finish at Pollença, a town known for its Roman bridge, ancient streets, and lively market square—a perfect spot to celebrate with some tapas.
