By bicycle from Capdepera to Artà

This cycling route takes you from Capdepera to Artà, winding through the scenic northeast corner of Mallorca. Starting from the hilltop town of Capdepera—famous for its beautifully preserved medieval castle—you’ll roll out onto mostly quiet country roads, enjoying a relaxed ride through typical Mallorcan countryside.

The route is about 14 km long, with a gentle ascent (about 150 meters) and a similar descent, so it’s manageable for most riders. About two-thirds of the way is paved, but you’ll also hit some gravel and unpaved stretches, so a hybrid or gravel bike is a good choice.

You’ll pass through farmland, patches of pine forest, and might spot a few sheep along the way! Artà, your destination, is another charming town with a picturesque main street and a striking fortress on the hill. Grab a coffee in the square to cap off your ride and soak up the local vibes before heading back or exploring further.
