By bicycle from Tårnby to Frederiksberg

This ride takes you from the quiet suburb of Tårnby straight into the lively heart of Frederiksberg—two of Greater Copenhagen’s most interesting districts. Tårnby starts you off with a relaxed suburban vibe, making it easy to find your rhythm on the mostly flat (and friendly!) route.

You’ll roll along smooth asphalt for almost the entire way, making use of Copenhagen’s top-notch cycleways for more than half the journey. Expect to cruise past parks, cozy neighborhoods, and even portions of Amager’s modern housing developments as you trace your way northwest toward the city.

Once you reach Frederiksberg, you’ll notice the energy shift. This is an area known for its elegant boulevards, leafy parks, and plenty of cafes—perfect for that well-earned coffee. With barely any hills and minimal traffic, this route is perfect for all levels, whether you’re a daily commuter or an easygoing explorer.

Fun fact: Frederiksberg is technically its own municipality, even though it’s right in the middle of Copenhagen!
