By bicycle from Kista to Bergshamra

Roll out from Kista—Stockholm’s big tech/ICT hub with the Kista Galleria on your doorstep—and point your bars southeast toward Kymlinge. You’ll quickly pick up the Igelbäcken valley path, a green, quiet spin through the nature reserve. It’s mostly dedicated cycleway (about 86%) and almost entirely paved/asphalt, so it’s smooth and stress-free. Expect gentle ups and downs (around 75 m of climbing total), with a couple of short ramps near Kymlinge.

Keep following the signed bike routes as you slip under the E4/E18 via tunnels and continue toward Ulriksdal/Bergshamra. The last stretch skirts Brunnsviken, where you might catch a breeze off the water. Watch for a few sections of paving stones near centers and shared areas with pedestrians.

Finish in Bergshamra, a Solna district right by Brunnsviken and the Royal National City Park—great for a post-ride stroll or a quick dip in summer. Metro (red line) is handy here if you’re heading onward. Total distance is about 8.6 km.
