By bicycle from Kalmar to Lindsdal

Start your ride in the beautiful coastal city of Kalmar, famous for its charming old town and the historic Kalmar Castle. From there, you’ll head out north toward Lindsdal on a fairly relaxed 9.8 km route that’s perfect whether you’re a casual cyclist or just looking for a nice commute.

Most of the way (about 80%) is on dedicated cycleways, with smooth asphalt and only a gentle climb of around 30 meters—nothing too strenuous. The rest of the journey takes you through some quiet residential roads and short stretches of path, so you’ll have a peaceful and safe ride all the way.

Arriving in Lindsdal, a suburban area just north of Kalmar, you’ll find a quieter pace of life with plenty of green space. It’s a great spot to catch your breath or explore local cafés. All in all, a scenic and straightforward ride with coastal breezes and Swedish charm!
