Quick ride by bicycle from Bergshamra to Kista

Roll out from leafy Bergshamra in Solna, right by Brunnsviken and the Royal National City Park, and head northwest on car-light paths. It’s a comfortable 8.6 km ride, mostly smooth going: about 90% asphalt and roughly 85% on dedicated cycleways, with just a few short links on quiet roads. Expect gentle ups and downs (around 60 m of ascent overall), nothing steep.

You’ll likely follow the green corridor past the Igelbäcken/Järvafältet area—open meadows, a little stream, and wide bike paths make it a relaxing stretch. Roll into Kista on its separated lanes and finish among glass-and-steel offices and the big Kista Galleria. Kista is Stockholm’s tech hub (Kista Science City), often dubbed Sweden’s Silicon Valley.

Plan on about 30–40 minutes at an easy pace, longer if you stop for a park detour or a coffee en route.
