Quick ride by bicycle from Årsta to Råsunda

This ride takes you from Årsta, a laid-back residential area south of Stockholm, all the way to Råsunda, a historic neighborhood in Solna famous for its football legacy. You'll cover just over 13 kilometers, mostly on dedicated cycleways, so it’s a relaxed and safe route whether you’re commuting or exploring.

Expect a few gentle climbs and descents—the total ascent is about 150 meters—so you’ll get a bit of a workout. The surfaces are overwhelmingly smooth asphalt and paved paths, with only a tiny fraction unaccounted for (probably some cobbles or transitions).

Starting in Årsta, you’ll roll past parks and green spaces, crossing bridges and weaving through city neighborhoods. As you approach Råsunda, keep an eye out for the site of the old Råsunda Stadium, a shrine for Swedish football lovers.
