Starting among Perchtoldsdorf’s vineyards and its famous medieval tower, you’ll cruise almost entirely on smooth, paved surfaces—so it’s easy on the ride, and perfect for any type of bike.

You’ll roll gently southward, losing more altitude than you gain (expect a pleasant descent overall), mostly along quiet cycleways and peaceful roads. The scenery quickly shifts from rolling hills and suburban streets to open fields and patches of woodland as you edge closer to Laxenburg.
