By bicycle from Ulm to Dornstadt

Here’s a great short cycling route to try: Start out in the lively city of Ulm, famous for its stunning Münster—the tallest church spire in the world. From there, roll northwards, mostly on quiet country paths and small roads, making for a relaxed ride with little car traffic. The route is just under 13 km, so it’s perfect for an easy afternoon outing.

You’ll gradually climb up about 180 meters, so expect a bit of a workout, but nothing too taxing if you take your time and enjoy the scenery. Most of the way is paved or asphalt, though there are a few odd stretches with stone paving—just enough to keep things interesting.
