Cycling day trip from Ravensburg to Friedrichshafen

This scenic bike route takes you from the historic town of Ravensburg down to the lakeside city of Friedrichshafen—two gems in southern Germany. Starting in Ravensburg, known for its medieval towers and charming old town (and the world-famous jigsaw puzzle company!), you’ll roll out along mostly paved paths with just a few gentle hills—the total climb is under 200 meters, so it’s manageable for most cyclists.

Most of the ride is on quiet roads and bike paths, letting you enjoy the beautiful countryside of Upper Swabia without much traffic. As you approach Friedrichshafen, you’ll start descending toward Lake Constance (Bodensee), a blue expanse famous for its panoramic Alpine views and Zeppelin history.
