Cycling day trip from Seeheilbad Graal-Müritz to Warnemünde

This relaxed ride takes you from Seeheilbad Graal-Müritz, a charming Baltic Sea health resort known for its long sandy beaches and therapeutic sea air, all the way to Warnemünde, the vibrant seaside district of Rostock famous for its picturesque old lighthouse and wide promenade.

The route is about 40 km and is mostly flat, with just a gentle ascent and descent, making it perfect for a leisurely day out. Nearly the whole way is paved, with mainly asphalt and some smooth paving stones, so you won’t have to worry about rough ground or gravel. You'll spend most of your time on dedicated paths and cycleways, keeping things peaceful and safe.

You’ll cruise along the coast, through lush forests and patches of dunes, often right by the sea—so be sure to take in those fresh ocean views. Once you get to Warnemünde, treat yourself to some fresh fish rolls (Fischbrötchen) at the harbor and maybe climb the lighthouse for a stunning panorama. Happy cycling!
