Cycling day trip from Mülheim to Heiligenhaus

Hey there cyclist! If you're in the mood for a scenic ride, start your journey in Mülheim and make your way to Heiligenhaus. It’s a sweet little route stretching just over 25 kilometers, so it's perfect for a somewhat leisurely ride.

You'll kick things off in the bustling yet charming town of Mülheim, hugging the banks of the Ruhr. Here, you'll find lots of paths to get lost on (in a good way!). As you pedal out of town, the route is mostly laid out on asphalt and smooth paving stones, making for a comfortable ride. And although it's a rolling journey with a total ascent of nearly 300 meters, don't sweat it too much—the scenic views will distract you from the climb.

You'll traverse a mix of quiet roads and peaceful paths, with very minimal busy roads, which is just the way we like it! Feel free to take your time and enjoy the green, quaint scenery that Germany is known for.
