Cycling day trip from Lindau to Arbon

Take a scenic ride along the shores of Lake Constance from Lindau to Arbon! This roughly 48 km route starts in the charming island town of Lindau, famous for its old lighthouse and stunning harbor with Alpine views. From there, you’ll pedal mostly on smooth, paved cycleways—perfect for a relaxed cruise.

The journey hugs the lake for much of the way, passing orchards, small villages, and giving you plenty of chances to stop for lakeside photos or a quick swim. The route is mostly flat, with only gentle rises and descents, so it’s ideal for all levels of cyclists.

You’ll pass through the border into Switzerland before reaching Arbon, a lovely lakeside town known for its historic old town and lakeside promenade.
