Quick ride by bicycle from Heiligenhafen to Grossenbrode

This fun seaside ride takes you from the bustling harbor town of Heiligenhafen to the chilled-out beach resort of Großenbrode. Starting in Heiligenhafen, you’ll enjoy lovely views of its famous pier and lively promenade, then pedal east along a mix of paved cycle paths and quiet roads. Most of the way’s nice and smooth (about 85% paved!), but you’ll get a little taste of adventure with short sections of packed gravel and sand—nothing your bike can’t handle.

As you roll through open fields and maritime scenery, keep your eyes peeled: the Baltic Sea is never far away, and you might spot kitesurfers or seabirds along the coast. The ride is pretty gentle, with only about 30 meters of climb—it’s perfect for a relaxed outing.
