Cycling day trip from Hanover to Nordstemmen

This ride takes you from the vibrant city of Hanover down to the charming town of Nordstemmen, covering about 34 km of mostly smooth riding. You’ll start in Hanover, known for its lovely parks and bustling city life—the perfect launching point. As you head south, you’ll notice the route is mainly paved (over 90%), with lots of asphalt and concrete stretches, so it’s a reliable choice for road bikes.

The journey is mostly flat, with gentle rolling ascents and descents, and you’ll pass plenty of green fields and quaint villages along the way—great for a relaxing pedal. Much of the route follows dedicated paths (over 60%) or cycle-friendly tracks and quiet roads, so you won’t have much traffic to worry about.
