Cycling day trip from Hanover to Hildesheim

Get ready to pedal from the charming city of Hanover to the picturesque town of Hildesheim! Starting from Hanover, known for its beautiful Herrenhausen Gardens and the Hanover Fair, your journey will take you through a scenic 38-kilometer ride. It's not too much of a lung-buster, with a gentle ascent of around 129 meters and a descent of about 96 meters.

The route is quite a mix of surfaces – mostly smooth asphalt and some paving stones. You'll glide through more than half of it on paths, which is great for a relaxing ride. There’s a bit of gravel and concrete thrown in, ideal for a bit of adventure without being too taxing.
