Cycling day trip from Gettorf to Kiel

This scenic ride takes you from the small town of Gettorf to the vibrant city of Kiel, covering about 25 km. Starting in Gettorf—famous for its charming animal park—you’ll head gently south, enjoying mostly paved and quiet paths that roll through the countryside. The elevation doesn’t get much higher than 35 meters, so climbs are mild, and you’ll enjoy a nice mix of rural scenery with only about 100 meters of ascent and descent overall.

The route is mostly on paved and asphalt surfaces (though some sections are missing surfacing), and it's pleasantly free from busy roads—perfect for a relaxed pace.
