By bicycle from Gesundbrunnen to Berlin Schöneberg

Spin out from Gesundbrunnen, the busy S+U hub by Volkspark Humboldthain—if you’ve got a minute, the old flak tower there doubles as a great city lookout. Head south through Wedding on quiet backstreets and signed bike lanes, skirting the Panke greenway. You’ll glide into Mitte and can thread shaded paths through Tiergarten before swinging past Potsdamer Platz and into Park am Gleisdreieck, a smooth, bike‑friendly stretch that drops you toward Schöneberg.

It’s about 12.3 km, almost completely paved: mostly asphalt with some paving stones and the odd bit of cobble. Elevation is minimal (Berlin-flat), with gentle ups and downs only. The route favors calm residential roads and park paths, with dedicated cycleways in the mix and barely any busy-road riding.
