Cycling day trip from Düsseldorf to Hochfeld

Looking for a scenic and gently rolling cycling route? Start out from the lively heart of Düsseldorf, a city famous for its arts scene, Altbier, and breezy riverside promenades. You’ll head north toward Hochfeld—a district of Duisburg known for its industrial heritage and multicultural flair.

This approximately 31 km ride is perfect if you want a taste of both urban vibes and green stretches. Most of your journey is on paved paths or quiet roads, so it’s a relaxing trip without much traffic.
