Cycling day trip from Millas to Saint-Estève

This mellow ride takes you from the charming village of Millas, nestled in the heart of the Roussillon plain, over to the lively suburb of Saint-Estève, just outside Perpignan. You’ll cover about 20 km on mostly quiet roads, perfect for cruising without much traffic to worry about. The elevation is gentle—only a slight ascent at the start followed by a comfortable downhill for most of the journey.

Millas is famous for its Catalan heritage and local wines, so it’s worth a little wander before you pedal off. Once you arrive in Saint-Estève, you’ll find yourself close to the urban buzz of Perpignan with its markets and cafés.

The route is mostly paved, though do expect some sections where the gravel takes over (especially if you wander onto a path or cycleway here and there).
