By bicycle from Le Pré-Saint-Gervais to Vanves

Pedal off from Le Pré-Saint-Gervais, a charming suburb just northeast of Paris famous for its village-like feel and local street art. This route stretches for about 15.7 km and makes for a nice, leisurely ride, mostly along smooth, paved cycleways—no need to worry about rough patches or tricky roads.

You’ll weave through some quieter Paris neighborhoods, catching glimpses of city parks, local cafés, and a true Parisian ambiance without the bustling tourist crowds. The ascent is gentle (just under 60 meters), so you won’t be gasping for air—unless you stop for too many croissants on the way!

Arriving in Vanves, a lovely residential area just southwest of the city, you’ll find mellow streets and some cool local markets. Vanves is also home to one of Paris’s best flea markets if you’re in a browsing mood post-ride. All in all, it’s the perfect city cross-town escape with lots of room to explore Paris from a cyclist’s perspective.
