Quick ride by bicycle from Gentilly to Les Lilas

This is a fun urban ride from Gentilly, just south of Paris, to Les Lilas in the city’s northeast. Starting in Gentilly, you'll pedal out from a lively suburb known for its proximity to the Cité Universitaire and peaceful parks, merging pretty quickly into the energy of the city.

You’ll cover about 13.5 km, mostly cruising along smooth, paved surfaces—great for a relaxed, no-drama spin. The route is quite friendly to cyclists, with more than half of your ride on dedicated cycleways and most of the rest on quiet or access roads. There's a bit of a climb (about 153 meters of ascent)—not super steep, but you'll definitely feel it in your legs, especially as you get closer to Les Lilas.
