This scenic cycling route takes you from Komárom in Hungary to Komárno in Slovakia—two neighboring towns separated by the Danube but united by history. The 9.3 km ride is mostly flat, so it’s perfect for a leisurely spin with just over 34 meters of gentle ups and downs. You'll be on a mix of cozy cycleways and quiet roads, with most of the route paved smoothly under your wheels.

Starting in Komárom, known for its historic fortresses, you'll head north, possibly crossing the Danube by the Elisabeth Bridge—a crossing that links these “twin cities.” As you roll into Komárno, you can soak up the vibrant atmosphere and perhaps check out Europe Place, famous for its colorful architecture.
