Quick ride by bicycle from Fertőrákos to Sopron

Roll out of Fertőrákos—known for its dramatic stone quarry and the UNESCO-listed Fertő/Neusiedler See cultural landscape—on quiet village lanes that link into signed cycleways. The route threads past reeds, vineyards, and fields, with a fair bit of gravel and some unpaved sections; nothing technical, but wider tires are a plus. You’ll climb gently toward the Lővérek hills (about 160 m total), with traffic kept to a minimum thanks to mostly quiet roads and bike paths.
