By bicycle from Csopak to Balatonfüred

This mellow ride starts in the charming wine village of Csopak, nestled on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. You’ll pedal west toward Balatonfüred, a historic spa town famous for its lakeside promenade and mineral springs. Covering just over 6.5 km, it’s perfect for an easy morning spin or a laid-back afternoon cruise.

Most of the route winds along quiet country roads with only short stretches on busier sections, so you can enjoy the scenery in peace. Don’t be surprised if you catch glimpses of vineyards and lovely lake views along the way—the area is known for its white wine and relaxed vibe. There’s a gentle climb or two, but nothing too tough (about 60 meters of ascent in total).

Arriving in Balatonfüred, reward yourself with a stroll along the Tagore Promenade, or treat yourself to a lemonade by the harbor. Both towns make a great introduction to Balaton’s cycling scene—expect smiles, good coffee, and maybe even a dip in the lake if you’re up for it!
