Cycling day trip from Balatonkenese to Siófok

Set off from the peaceful lakeside town of Balatonkenese, known for its sailing scene and relaxing waterfront. The route to Siófok — the vibrant “Capital of Lake Balaton” — takes you south along the lake’s eastern shore, covering a little over 25 km of mostly paved roads (nearly 90%!), perfect for a comfortable ride.

You'll pass through charming villages and scenic stretches, with most of the journey on quiet roads and a nice portion on designated cycleways. Expect gentle ups and downs, with around 160m of ascent and just under 180m of descent — nothing too tough, so it's suitable for most riders who want to soak up the scenery.
