Cycling day trip from Ústí nad Labem to Děčín

This scenic cycling route takes you from Ústí nad Labem to Děčín, following around 29 kilometers of mostly paved paths with gentle rolling hills—perfect for a relaxed ride.

You'll start off in Ústí nad Labem, a city known for its stunning views over the Elbe River and dramatic sandstone cliffs. From there, you’ll cruise along a mix of dedicated cycleways and quiet roads, with the vast majority being smooth asphalt—ideal for keeping a nice pace and enjoying the scenery. On your ride, you’ll get just enough ascent for a little workout (about 160 meters), but nothing too intense.

The route closely follows the Elbe, so expect lovely riverside stretches and plenty of spots to pause for a photo. After about 30 kilometers, you'll roll into Děčín, famous for its picturesque chateau perched above the river and as a gateway to the breathtaking Bohemian Switzerland National Park.
