By bicycle from Třinec to Jablunkov

If you’re up for a pleasant ride through eastern Czechia, this route will take you from the lively industrial town of Třinec to the charming small town of Jablunkov. The ride is about 18 km long, mostly on quiet roads, with a manageable ascent of around 154 meters.

Třinec is known for its steelworks and has a unique local vibe, while Jablunkov is an old market town surrounded by gorgeous Beskydy foothills. Along the way, you’ll cycle mostly on peaceful, paved roads with just a bit of light traffic. It’s a good blend of fun countryside cycling and gentle rolling hills, so you’ll get a scenic workout without too much strain. About a third of the route is definitively on asphalt or paved surfaces, with the rest likely being quiet local lanes.
