Quick ride by bicycle from Lednice to Zaječí

This scenic ride takes you from the fairytale town of Lednice, famous for its stunning neo-Gothic castle and vast UNESCO-listed gardens, northwards through the South Moravian countryside to the wine-loving village of Zaječí. Covering nearly 14 km, the route mostly follows quiet country tracks (about 57%) and smooth paved and asphalt roads, so it’s a comfortable journey for most cyclists.

You’ll pedal through a landscape dotted with vineyards, meadows, and gentle rolling hills—expect a few moderate climbs but nothing too challenging, and some lovely downhill sections as you near Zaječí. The area is a hotspot for wine tourism, so don’t be surprised if you catch the aroma of grapes or spot tasting cellars as you arrive.
