Cycling day trip from Jeseník to Loučná nad Desnou

Get ready for a rewarding ride from Jeseník to Loučná nad Desnou! This scenic route is just shy of 50 km and winds you through the heart of the Jeseníky mountains, so expect some serious ups and downs—over 1,500 meters of climbing, to be precise.

You’ll start in Jeseník, a charming spa town famous for its crisp air and healing springs—perfect for fueling up before you go. The route is a blend of paved roads, asphalt stretches, and a fair bit of gravel and unpaved sections, so a gravel or trekking bike is your best bet.

Most of the way you’ll be on peaceful tracks and quiet roads, passing through deep forests and little mountain villages.
