Cycling day trip from Děčín to Dresden

This ride takes you from Děčín in the Czech Republic to Dresden, Germany, tracing much of the scenic Elbe River route. Covering about 68 km, it’s a mostly paved journey (with over 90% on smooth asphalt), making it ideal for road bikes or hybrids.

Starting in Děčín—famous for its stunning castle perched above the Elbe—you’ll follow a mix of dedicated cycleways and quiet country roads, with only occasional stretches of paving stones.
