Quick ride by bicycle from Brno to Troubsko

This relaxed cycling route takes you from Brno, the lively capital of South Moravia, to the peaceful village of Troubsko. Setting off from Brno, you’ll weave through a mix of quiet roads and cycleways – most of the ride is on smooth asphalt, so it’s easy-going for most bikes.

The ride is about 14 km long and packs in some gentle hills, especially in the first half as you climb out of Brno. Once you crest the local high point (around 303 meters elevation), you’ll enjoy rolling down towards the countryside.

On your way, you’ll pedal past a few suburban neighborhoods, maybe spotting the towers of Brno’s Špilberk Castle behind you as the scenery becomes more village-like. Troubsko is a classic South Moravian village, dotted with traditional houses and surrounded by fields; it’s a great spot for a breather before you head back or explore more.
