By bicycle from Sopot to Wielki Kack

This ride takes you from the bustling seaside resort of Sopot—famous for its vibrant pier and beautiful sandy beaches—into the quieter, green suburb of Wielki Kack on the outskirts of Gdynia. The route covers just under 14 km and clocks in at a chill pace, perfect for a relaxed afternoon ride.

You’ll start off weaving through Sopot’s lively streets and quickly find yourself on a mix of cycle paths and quiet roads—most of the way is nicely paved, so it’s comfortable for any bike. Expect a steady climb as you leave the coast, with a total ascent of about 185 meters, but you’ll be rewarded with some great views as you get higher (the route peeks at about 135 meters elevation). Along the way, you’ll see plenty of green spaces and might even catch glimpses of the Tricity Landscape Park.
