Cycling day trip from Krokowa to Jastrzębia Góra

Spin out of Krokowa past its handsome castle and park, then drift north through quiet Kashubian countryside toward the Baltic. This ride is about 27.8 km with gentle rolling ups and downs (around 160 m of climbing) and is mostly on smooth, dedicated cycleways, with just a few short stretches of paving stones through villages.

Expect a mix of fields, pockets of pine forest, and the occasional lake view as you edge closer to the coast and the sea breeze kicks in. Traffic is light, so it’s a relaxed cruise suitable for most riders.

Roll into Jastrzębia Góra, a classic seaside resort perched on high cliffs within the Coastal Landscape Park. Don’t miss the “Gwiazda Północy” marker — the northernmost point of Poland — and, a bit east, the Rozewie Lighthouse for big Baltic views. There are plenty of beach stairways, waffle stands, and fish shacks to celebrate the finish.

Fun fact: Krokowa’s historic castle once belonged to the von Krokow family and now hosts a museum and cultural events — a nice pre-ride stroll if you have time.
