By bicycle from Krakow to Rząska

Set off on a pleasant ride from Kraków’s buzzing city center, heading northwest toward the peaceful suburb of Rząska. The route covers just over 13 km—perfect for a leisurely morning or post-work cruise. After gliding past some of Kraków’s famous sights, you’ll quickly find yourself swapping lively, historic streets for quieter residential roads and gentle countryside views.

There’s a mild climb of just under 100 meters, but most of the ride is friendly rolling terrain. You’ll spend the majority of your journey on well-paved tarmac, with only the occasional old paving stone or cobblestone patch—classic touches in this part of Poland. Expect mostly calm roads, with just a short segment on busier streets before you arrive in Rząska, a charming gateway between Kraków and the greenlands beyond.
